Welcome to The British Institute of Professional Photography, Yorkshire Region.
The BIPP, unlike some other photography associations which are privately run businesses, is owned and run by its members for the benefit of the members. It exists to raise professional standards in the interest of both its membership and their clients through qualifications and code of conduct.
With the help of mentoring and access to heavily subsidised training in all disciplines of photography you will be schooled toward qualification of the BIPP to gain accreditation for your business. BIPP qualifications, unlike those of other photographic associations, are the long established industry benchmark and respected the world over.

A TRIBUTE
A year ago, we announced the sad loss of Jayne, who passed away suddenly at the age of 47.
Jayne was an award winning Fine Art and Wedding Photographer and also a very supportive and active former member of the Yorkshire Region’s committee. She will be very much missed.
After completing a Master of Arts in Computer Imaging and Animation, the allure of everything image led Jayne into a successful career in design for the moving image.
Later, after completing a degree in Commercial Photography to distinction level, her artistic aptitude extended across into the world of commercial and fine art photography. This led to international acclaim for her distinctive style of photography, which generated a succession of awards in the category of fine art from across the globe.
Jayne’s unique style of photography captured the imagination of the captains of the photographic industry from as far away as Los Angeles and she had an impressive catalogue of awards of which she was extremely proud.
Including The British Institute of Professional Photography (Yorkshire Region) Illustrative Photographer of the Year Award and a First Place Outstanding Achievement Award from The Black & White Spider Awards in Hollywood.
